Dancing in the Park 2022

Malvern’s Dancing in the Park

Last year the seventeenth Dancing on the Bridge was held in the Malvern Community Park, with great success. The Malvern Community Development Fund (MCDF) intends to hold the event in the park for the foreseeable future, so a name change is in order: Malvern’s Dancing in the Park! The festival will be on September 10, 2022 and will include a free children’s play area with games and inflatables, day and evening entertainment, a basket raffle, food and craft vendors, and a beer garden. The fun begins at noon and ends at 11:00 p.m.

MCDF is a non-profit organization which has made improvements in Malvern since 2004. For a complete list and slideshow of the improvements made over the years, visit www.malverncdf.org and click on the “Projects” page. This year we are raising funds to create a parking lot and possibly some green space in the area surrounding the old fire station on Water Street. Since there is very limited parking available in downtown, this will benefit local businesses and encourage new businesses to come to Malvern. It will also make it easier for locals and visitors to go to restaurants, shop and conduct business. A Que Pasa restaurant will be opening soon in addition to the Café on the Corner, Waneda’s Restaurant and the Firehouse Grill. Please consider contributing to this project and join us in working to revitalize downtown Malvern.

Our hope is that everyone in Malvern and the surrounding areas will join us for a party in the park to celebrate the end of a great summer! Questions? Call Committee Co-Chairmen Nolan Champer 330-205-0464 or Doug Wood 330-936-6662.
