The MCDF Board of Trustees voted to move the event to the Community Park for many reasons, some of which are an existing stage, picnic tables and portajohns, more room for social distancing, better parking, no work closing streets making emergency access better, memories of the fun of Homecoming in the park.
Dancing on the Bridge is a project of the Malvern Community Development Fund (MCDF), a non-profit organization which has made improvements in Malvern since 2004. This year we are raising funds to have a mural created and put on the side of the building owned by Dr. and Tami Hulit on the corner of Main and Reed. This will beautify Malvern and add art to the Village for everyone to enjoy as they drive or walk by. We welcome input from the community about what they would like to see in the mural. Anyone can give their ideas by email or calling Susan Joyce 330-875-3994, firstname.lastname@example.org or Nolan Champer 330-205-0464, email@example.com Letters requesting donations will be sent out just after July 4. For a complete list and slideshow of the improvements made over the years, visit www.malverncdf.org and click on the “Projects” page.
MCDF invites everyone in Malvern and the surrounding areas to support the event and come out to celebrate the end-of-summer with good times and good food!
